Do I need an account?
No sign-up needed. The app creates an anonymous guest account the first time you go online. Solo training works offline.
How do I change my display name?
Open settings in the app. Names are 3–16 characters: letters, digits or underscore.
How do belts work?
Win ranked battles to earn rank points. Your first 5 ranked matches place you; after that, enough points promote you to the next belt (White → Yellow → Green → Blue → Red → Black → Grandmaster). Right after a promotion you're protected from dropping back for one match. Belts are earned only, never sold.
My score didn't show on the leaderboard.
Every run is replayed on our server. Runs that don't verify (for example from a modified app or impossible reaction times) don't count. Make sure you have a stable connection when the run ends, and that your app is up to date: older versions are asked to update.
What happens if my friend is offline when I challenge them?
You can wait until you're both online and fight live, or play your run now; they then play against your ghost later. Challenges expire after 48 hours.
Who are the sparring partners?
Sparring partners are dojo characters whose runs were recorded during playtesting. They're always labeled as sparring partners, so you know when you're not facing a real person.
I lost my progress after reinstalling.
Guest accounts live on your device. Reinstalling or switching phones creates a new account. Contact us with your old display name and we'll see what we can do.
How do I delete my account?
In the app's settings, choose delete account. Everything is removed immediately. See the Privacy Policy for details.
